Logistic System Improvement in the Company

The paper deals with the achievement of the maximum performance of a company as one of the problems of the economics. Its solution in contemporary conditions is possible only by coordinating the work of all structural units. Flows of raw materials, semi-finished and finished goods, financial and informational resources move step by step through each company. Section of economic science for the material, informational and financial flows management is logistics. This study review evolution of the concept of logistics and functional areas of logistics. Following this, the current logistic performance of the company “Group GAZ” was assessed with the intention to find ways to eliminate the weaknesses. The results could advance our understanding of the nature of logistics and its practical relevance.
