Country of Origin Effect on Consumer Choice

In numerous previous studies the issues of country-of-origin effect on demand were conducted. According to current situation in world economy examining of country-of origin effect is quit important mainly for Russian economy. However, the majority of articles, earlier carried out by other scientists, is based on data collected from surveys. Present study is established on scanner data of one of the Perm region grocery store chains. The product category for the analysis is substantiated too. Moreover, there is an employment of economentric conditional logit model in this research. Received results support proposed hypotheses, and allow making conclusions.
