The Impact of Intellectual Capital on Performance of Russian Company

Within a resource-based theory framework, intellectual capital is one of the important factors of the success of the company. The purpose of this work is to analyze the role of the components of intellectual capital in the efficient performance of the company. In this paper the information about Russian companies for the period from 2004 to 2014 was used. The data were collected having used such databases as AMADEUS, Bloomberg. The method of available data was used to collect qualitative indicators. Empirical analysis is conducted with the help of correlations and the OLS method. The results showed that some of the components of intellectual capital have a positive influence on the efficiency of companies. The results of this study may be useful for the company managers. When making decisions it is necessary to know which factors can increase the efficiency of the company.
