Automation of Financial and Economic Analysis in an Organization

In Bachelor's Degree final qualification paper “Automation of financial-economical analysis of an organization”, the process of automation of financial analysis of an organization is studied, along with its solvency and the possibility of bankruptcy in case of credit issuance.The relevancy of this paper is in the necessity of fast decision making on a bank’s part in case of credit issuance to a borrower, whilst having analysed its financial condition and solvency.This process requires special skills, knowledge of instruments and techniques of financial diagnostic. In this paper the necessity of both interior and exterior analysis is shown, and a complex approach to the evaluation of solvency of a potential borrower is proposed.The paper consists of an introduction, 3 main parts (overview of these topics, description of methodology and a practical solution to the study), conclusion, bibliography and attachments.The main purpose of this study will be creation of a method and an automated instrument for the decision making of issuance of a credit to a contractor. The automated instrument invented on this study will have to automate the calculation of financial indicators for determination of an organization’s financial condition and solvency. Automation of these processes will be carried out using tables in MS Excel. Also a data warehouse will be made using MS SQL Project Management. This instrument will allow a bank to effectively make a decision in a short time, save money and minimize risks. This instrument will increase effectiveness of decision making.The practical result of this study will be the testing of the proposed methodology in JSC “Surgutneftegaz”.The novelty of this study is in the complex approach to automation of financial analysis during credit issuance, that will allow a bank to effectively make a decision in a short amount of time and minimize risks of non-payment of credit and the failure of credit obligations from the borrower’s side.
