Strategic Decision Development for an International Roofing Materials Manufacturer on the Russian Market

This paper focuses on the development of recommendations concerning a particular strategic decision in roofing materials manufacturer Braas - DSK-1, LLC. The strategic decision is a matter of opening a new production line in Russia which will produce roofing parts, so the company would stop importing the same type of parts from Germany. The research consists of two chapters. In Chapter One, the analysis of theoretical basis is carried out, followed by the list of relevant strategic tools to apply later in the research. The second Chapter includes the description of the company, the description and segmentation of the roofing materials market and its analysis and the description of the strategic decision. In addition, strategic tools from Chapter One are applied in order to support the positive impact of the strategic decision on the company. In conclusion, recommendations are formulated and potential changes in the company's environment are stated.
