Psychological Specifics of Management in Nonprofit Organization

This research work is devoted to psychological specifics study in non-commercial organizations. As a primary problem the question of a new vision on power phenomenon from the person-centered approach and congruity of Roger’s ideas on fully functioning person who owns power is discussed. Non-commercial organizations and leaders present a new form of realizing power in our society, which is supposed to comply with person-centered approach principles and characteristics of fully functioning. In this work the content of leader’s motivation of “helping” is discovered through social, moral motivation and motivation of personal growth than through receiving status and commercial benefit. The work specific involves presentation of psychological advantages and disadvantages as a “psychological map for NCO”, that has its practical benefit for guidance materials for NCO leaders and projects of citizen initiatives. The structure of this research work includes introduction, two chapters, conclusion and additional materials. The work presents 1 picture, 5 tables, 6 apps. The volume of the body text consists of 88 pages.
