Training and Development Practices of Personnel at the Hotel: the Impact on the Retention of Young High Potential Employees

Master thesis is devoted to studying the impact of training and development programs on the desire of young high-potential employees to leave the company after training. In the course of this work we have studied and defined the concepts and characteristics of a young high-potential employees, as well as studied the approaches and methods of retaining this category of employees. Herewith, training and development programs stand out as one of the key factors in retaining young employees with high potential. The study was conducted in order to determine whether the implemented in hotels training and development programs affect on the employee's desire to continue the employment relationship with the company-employer. The work revealed the problems existing in the training in the hospitality industry, on the basis of which have been given practical advice on the retention of young employees with high potential, increasing their loyalty to the company-employer.
