Managing Transformation Program in Organization

The object of study: the totality of the companies in Russia and Kazakhstan mining industry. Subject of research: factors affecting the performance of the transformation program, aimed at improving operating efficiency in the mining industry of Russia and Kazakhstan Objective: Development of guidelines on the management effectiveness for the implementation of transformational programs in the mining companies Research objectives: 1. In theoretical part: analysis of approaches to the execution of transformation programs 2. In the practical part: to evaluate the factors affecting the performance of the transformation programs 3. As part of the advisory: to develop a set of recommendations for the transformation program manager to eliminate the negative factors that increase the cost of their implementation. The hypothesis of the study: Ineffective communication of program participants and excessive bureaucratization of the processes are the main factors that increase the cost of execution of transformational programs in the mining industry of Russia and Kazakhstan Research Methodology: 1. Overview of the Russian and foreign literature 2. Analysis of business case studies (actual practice of transformation) 3. Interviews with experts 4. Questioning experts 5. Construction of a regression model Results: 1. It has been statistically proven influence of two factors • Resistance to change on the part of staff, in which the changes are carried out • Ineffective communication within the team's transformation the cost of execution of transformational programs in the mining industry; 2. Was developed a set of recommendations for a transformational program managers, allowing to exclude these factors from the perimeter of the program and improve the efficiency of program management in general.
