Applying Lean Technologies in Office Processes at the Production Enterprise

The purpose of this research is making practical recommendations and activities on optimization of the office order processing of customer in LLC “Steklodom”. In order to analyze and solve the problems of the order processing lean technologies, that is a set of methods and tools of the lean production concept, are applied. The main problem of the research is presence of operations in this process, which do not add value to the consumer and contain the various types of wastes and costs, which make business of the company ineffective increasing the total cycle time and the runtime of operations. During the research the current state of the process is reviewed in detail, a cross-functional diagram of the order processing is modeled, such complicating factors, as the problem of excessive control and approvals and the problem of the organization of working space, are determined, the root causes of the problems are revealed. The result of the research is the elaboration of the cross-functional diagram of future-state of the order processing and the programme of activities to address the identified problems. The expected effect of the implementation of the proposed measures is reducing the total cycle time and the runtime of the operations.
