Project Managment IT-process Modeling

This research considers questions of modeling IT processes based on an analysis of existing approaches, standards and procedures for the provision of IT services. The main problem of the article is integration to a common standardized format such concepts as description and utilization of IT processes with all of the relationships defined in the existing approaches, standards and methodologies which understood by business and the structural units of the organization. Much attention is given to the main IT processes in the IT infrastructure of any organization in combination with the detailed decomposition that can be used to any level of maturity of the organization. Each IT process considers as an infrastructure component of the organization with all the basic and complementary relationships with other processes. Description of IT processes based on the analysis of such approaches, standards and methods like ITIL / ITSM, ISO 20000, MOF, CobiT, PRINCE2. Modeling IT process is carried out by IDEF0 notation describing the following: input, output, and control mechanisms, as well as with the addition of a detailed description of the main sub-process all additional connections to other processes. Review of IT processes based on service approach and a common understanding of their life cycle to give us understanding of the areas responsibility between the business and organizational units. It will reduce disputes, which in the future will improve the efficiency of the organization as a whole and ensure competitiveness in the market.
