Because of consolidation of retailers’ position as well as retailers and producers are interested in direct collaboration without wholesalers’ mediation, wholesalers have to look for alternative means for competitive recovery and adaptation to market conditions. The aim of this thesis is development of a measures package for cross-functional and interorganizational interaction improvement in wholesaler’s supply chain for his competiveness enhancement. The thesis includes analysis of supply chain development tendencies, as well as consideration of typical wholesalers’ cross-functional and interorganizational problems. A package of measures was developed for enhancement of wholesaler’s logistics coordination. An option of internal logistics operator’s enhancement was suggested. This study covers the way of functions division between associated company and internal operator and the process of wholesaler’s integrated planning organization with internal operator as the process’ part. Updated configuration of organizational structure was proposed as well. The thesis suggests to organize an integrated information area for wholesaler’s company and internal operator by information models’ integration.
