The Program for Evaluating Students Performance Based on Fuzzy Logic Approach

This work is dedicated to using the fuzzy logic approaches in student’s works evaluation. The results, which students can get in studying process, not only gives motivation and encouragement to students, but also gives them difference material cons like scholarship and participating in different events and schools. However, there are a lot of factors, which can influence on student’s marks and introduce uncertainty in evaluation process. In general, this factors can significantly affect on students final results. The presence of uncertainty factors in student’s works can create a problem that students may try to get high mark more than knowledge. So, that is why it is necessary to minimize the vagueness and ambiguity in students’ evaluation process and try to get the objective grade to students. In this paper, various ways of describing and processing fuzziness are considered, such as type-1 and type-2 fuzzy sets applied to student performance evaluation process, and also describes an application that is a tool for the teachers in dealing with issues related to the available uncertainties. The paper contains 47 pages, 3 chapters, 19 pictures, 23 item in bibliography list, 4 sections in appendix.
