During their enlargement companies inevitably conclude that it is impossible to stay competitive in the market without information systems implementation. This fact is especially significant for large FMCG-companies whose business units are dispersed over a spacious geographical area and whose organizational structure is notable for its complex hierarchy. For these companies the following questions arise: how to automate the sales process and analyze employees’ effectiveness. To solve these issues FMCG companies started to use information systems. However, the process of system implementation is not always successful. Sometimes for project completion it is necessary to take additional steps to control it: adjust goals and take decisions for the adjacent projects initiation which accomplishment could signal about the successful current project’s completion. Therefore, project management is so important for achieving the project’s goals. The aim of the current research is the successful project implementation for the sales process automation and operational analysis of employees’ effectiveness. The following tasks were completed. -The FMCG industry specificity was reviewed and the current problems were highlighted. -The necessity of using IT for the sales process automation and operational analysis of employees’ effectiveness was proved. -The project of MS Dynamics CRM implementation was described and potential disadvantages of its analytical tools were considered. -The solution for efficient data analysis was proposed which became the controlling factor for achieving the current project’s goals. -The concept of the system integration with the data warehouse was built, its architecture, regulations and mechanisms were developed. -The example of the KPI calculation was introduced. The results of the current research are of practical importance because the integration was designed for a real large FMCG company and is successfully used by the customer.
