Higher School of Economics seeks to become a real European university and a full participant of the international academic space. The University has proclaimed a course for internationalization and the creation of a unified academic space. Its` area of international contacts and the number of international partners have significantly expanded. However, there is some contradiction between the desire for the internationalization of the educational process in the Higher School of Economics and the development of the ideas of multilingualism in EU universities. One process with a high probability excludes the other. Nevertheless, the existence of partnership agreements makes it possible to assume the existence of common goals and principles for the conduct of educational policy. The network that unites the HSE and its European partners allows us to see how common educational concepts are realized in it. The relevance of this study is to try to analyze the contradictions of the two tendencies of modern education (multilingualism and internationalization). It is also planned to build a partnership network of the Higher School of Economics to study how it is used to overcome this contradiction, and realize the principles of multilingualism.
