Public Policy in Promoting Active Life Style Among the Employed

This paper is devoted to the recommendations for active lifestyle of employed population in Russia. The necessity of good quality government program is high because of the tendency of increasing of passive lifestyle (employed people take a big amount of percent among passive people). Costs and consequences of inactive lifestyle were studied in this research. As much as the current situation in Russia and the world. In the paper there were reviewed the most successful foreign government policies of developing of the physical activity and sport and also studied the government policy in Russia. In the literature review there were examined the determinates of the physical activity and then there was found the most valuable determinates of the physical activity of employed people in Russia with an econometrical analysis of RLMS base. By the result we obtain the most valuable determinants. The most positive effect is provided by the high level of education and the most negative effect is provided by smoking. Also the hypothesis of the difference between the sets of factors for men and women was confirmed. On the basis of the obtained results there were formulated recommendations for improving of the current government policy for developing of the physical activity and sport of employed people in Russia.
