Factors, Influencing the Development of Active Tourism (Case of the Altai Region)

The role of tourism in the modern world is extremely big. This branch mentions almost all other fields of activity of modern society, including economy, culture, social life, the political aspect of life of society is also affected. In this work niche tourism will be considered, namely – active and extreme, within the Russian market. The case of Altai Krai will be separately studied. Objective of this research is to reveal the factors promoting and interfering development of Altai as a tourist destination for active and extreme tourism and to develop the corresponding recommendations Following the results of a research the factors promoting tourism development are revealed: natural wealth, existence of a big variety of simple active routes, independence of tourists, optimum duration of tours, nurseries of the camp, etc. And the factors interfering: backwardness the Internet of resources, insufficient knowledge of tourists, a small amount of adherents, lack of legal system and system of certification of guides, the hung-up risks on difficult sites of a route, high cost of tours and range of an arrangement
