Nowadays the issue of peace treaty between Japan and Russia became a rather vital issue concerning rising interest of Japanese government in problem salvation. Despite many obstacles with the Kuril Islands problem in the head of them, both governments insist on continuing development of the dialogue in a “positive diplomatic way”. The issue has raised many doubts and concerns among the Japanese society. The society opinion on the question has been changing through the time after the World War II, and today it appears to become not so obvious-weather Japanese society is for signing the treaty, against or are even not interested in the issue.
