Development of the Liespotting Training Program in Business Negotiations

The theoretical part of the work presents an analysis of the concept of "lies" and its differences from similar concepts, and analyzes the nature and ontogeny of the phenomenon. Motives, types of lies, methods, approaches, methods and techniques for recognizing lies are analyzed and described. Analyzed and described signs of manifestations of lies. The specifics of business negotiations, as well as the peculiarities of identifying lies in them, are analyzed and described. The author's scheme for recognizing lies in business negotiations was suggested. In the empirical part of the since work, an experimental research was conducted of recognizing lies in business negotiations with the help of a specially developed game "Negotiations". The sample consisted of 28 respondents, from 18-45 years old, with higher education, 9 men and 19 women, 20 - with experience of negotiations, 8 - did not participate earlier in the negotiation process. This work describes an attempt to develop a training program for recognizing lies in business negotiations. Possible interrelations of the level of trust to the interlocutor, the level of development of emotional intelligence, the level of intuitive abilities and the frequency of successful identification of lies were analyzed. Also in the work, the possibilities of the experimental method for applying it in the situation of lie research in business negotiations were critically analyzed.
