Today valuing of the companies is widespread and popular that is why more and deeper studies in this sphere are required. The research is intended to find the factors which have an impact on the value of retail companies. Increasing the value is the main goal of the company, so it is important to know what affects the company's value. At the first chapter evaluation issues, methods of evaluation were considered, a review of retail industry in Russia was made and specifics in determining the value of the retail company were outlined. The second chapter is devoted to a brief overview of some companies of the grocery retailers and determining their values. At the third chapter a regression model that assessed the dependence of the company's value on various factors, based on the data obtained from the valuation of the companies was constructed. Econometric model is built on the basis of panel data for six companies in the period from 2011 to 2021. According to the results of creating the model, as the most optimal was chosen random effects model, which shows that the company's value is affected by the share of tangible assets in all assets, the turnover of accounts payable and the current liquidity ratio. The model reflects the uniqueness of the study and has a practical significance, since its use can help in increasing the efficiency of the work of the company. The work contains recommendations for the implementation of the obtained econometric model.
