In the era of start-up popularization in Russia, it is very important to build convenient management paradigms to help young technology companies grow strongly. One of the most important parts is business communication development. This graduate qualification work aims to find a universal method of start-up ecosystem development by efficient communication within a team and with general partners. The relevance of this research is confirmed by the fact that 23 percent of start-ups close each year due to ineffective teams, and 13 percent of start-ups are closed due to complications in communication within a team or with an investor. The practical significance of this research is the development of universal methods that allow to manage business communications effectively in start-ups avoiding communication errors and minimize the number of IT projects closed due to communication problems in different business contexts. The methods of investigation are: 1) analysis of nonfictional literature on the topic of business communication in start-ups due to identifying communication contexts, communication errors, its causes and ways to avoid or eliminate communication errors; 2) classification of the found communication errors by business contexts, causes, and elimination methods; 3) observation of business communications in the active start-up, comparison of found communication errors in the literature and practically; 4) synthesis of theoretical and empirical knowledge due to generalize ways to eliminate communication errors in start-ups. There are two parts in the research – theoretical and empirical, the first is about literature review of business communication, the second is about the observation of business communication practically. Keywords: start-ups, business communication, communication errors
