The study of organizational development is an actual direction of a scientific and practical analysis because of the need to design a systemic view of the dynamics and features of companies' position on the life-cycle curve. Analytical tools for the assessment of the life cycle factors’ direction and impact will increase the corporate governance level, as well as provide the necessary company’s flexibility: a quick adaptation to the current market conditions and remaining competitive. The purpose of the research is to determine the cyclical nature of life cycle factors for Russian companies based on the developed methodology. Thus, in the theoretical part we develop the life cycle models’ classification. The results of the empirical study show that the natures of cyclicity of certain factors are different for different industries. However, most of the examined factors have the similar behavior (influence on the organizational development) along the life cycle curve. We consider the developed methodology as a practical tool for determining the role of factors (direction and power of influence) at various life cycle stages. The influence of life cycle factors on the organizational development causes the need for their control and management. Ensuring a life cycle factors balance leads to economic stability. Therefore, the final chapter of the paper presents an analysis of the influence of pro-cyclical and countercyclical factors on the particular company development. The organizational development systematic view formation is an indicator of the quality management that is able to regulate the direction and speed of the organization's movement along the life-cycle curve.
