Legal Regulation of the Use of Trademarks on the Internet

In the dissertation, author analyzes the using of trademarks in the Internet. The work describes the problem of correlation of a trademark and a domain name. Furthermore, author researched the issues of using contextual advertising as a special kind of a trademark in the Internet. The author concludes that the rightholders have many problems with the protection of exclusive right to trademarks in the Internet, as a consequence there is no uniformity of judicial practice now. In addition, the author proposes the new approaches to protection of exclusive right to trademarks in the Internet.
