Modern Russian television. exists within the framework of the advertising business model, where the largest part of revenues is generated through the sale of advertising inventory of TV channels. Nowadays, TV channels tends to revise the basic economic model in terms of an unstable economic situation and to take the path of diversifying sources of income. In this мaster's thesis 3 TV channels are considered: 1 Channel, СТС, ТНТ. The concept of A. Osterwalder is used to compare the diversification of their incomes. Furthermore, the efficiency of diversification of TV channels and its feasibility in the existing economic conditions is estimated throught the regression analysis of factors.
