Business Process Modeling and Optimization in the Company or the Industry Chosen by the Student

The purpose of this paper is the modeling and optimization of business process launching products in the B2C segment of the Department of products for residential segment in VimpelCom (Beeline) in ARIS software environment. The paper considers factors of effective identification of business processes and analyzes existing methodologies for modeling business processes. The reference model of the mobile operator eTOM is used as the basis for the business process identification. As part of the work, a pre-project survey is conducted in VimpelCom and a business process launching products in the B2C segment is identified; the AS-IS business process model is built. Also, the impact of innovative concept of working time organization on a dedicated business process and logical business process errors were identified; the TO-BE model is built on the basis of recommendations for improving the business process. The result of the master's project is the creation of a job description regulating the activities of senior product managers in the department of products for residential segments in VimpelCom.
