International Relations
(Bachelor’s programme)
2017
The paper seeks to examine the development of the German party system that is affected by the rise of euroscepticm. Foreign and domestic recent political shocks - Brexit, far-right eurosceptic "earthquake", upsurge of the AfD - determine the research relevance. In this paper we primarily focus on the analysis of the AfD activities. We intend to examine whether this right shift is short-term or not. Or maybe it is evidence of the party system collapse?

Key words: euroscepticism, Alternative für Deutschland, party system, Landtag, Bundestag
