Analysis of Factors Influencing the Development of Business Tourism Product (Case of the ExpoForum-International Company)

Business tourism is a new and rapidly developing area of business, which enables integration between the participants all over the world, and for that reason many countries pay particular attention to the development of this industry. Even though Saint-Petersburg is considered one of the leadingbusiness tourism destinations in Russia, its potential may be overlooked. This bachelor thesis is aimed to reveal the factors, which influence the development of business tourism product in Saint-Petersburg. The discovered factors have been identified through research of the business tourism market of Russia and Saint-Petersburg in particular, and as a result they have been divided into four groups based on their influence power. These factors allowed us to conclude the possible outcomes and problems of business tourism product. The methods of the research consist of secondary data analyzing, interviewing and analyzing of the ExpoForum-International company case. The result of the bachelor thesis includes the proposition of delegates’ packages developed in behalf of the ExpoForum-International company, which is responsible for the organization of Saint-Petersburg International Gas Forum. The conclusions were carried out on the basis of the data acquired from the survey of the Forum delegates in 2016.
