The problem of this master thesis is due to the fact that current changes in the politico-legal and socio-economic environment of modern Russia need to develop new forms of interaction with state and private enterprises, which are currently under consideration. The purpose of the study is to identify technologies that determine the GR strategy of behavior of foreign companies in Russia. To achieve this goal, the methods of theoretical analysis of literature on the studied problems, methods of analysis and synthesis, and the system approach were chosen as the methodological basis for the master thesis. In the second part of the master thesis, the main methods of research were the method of expert interviews and content analysis of the media. The analysis of the GR practices of foreign companies in a public environment has made it possible to establish that the communication of foreign companies with authorities through the media is rather an indirect rather than direct interaction, and media relations are not an independent GR technology for a foreign company specialist, but more like a supplement to other tools. Information on the official websites and from additional sources also shows that GR-practices are rarely made public, mainly, they are image materials that carry out PR-objectives. As a result of an expert interview of GR specialists from five foreign companies (Bacardi Rus, Danone, Deloitte, Google Russia, SCA), it was established that business associations and industry associations do play an important role in establishing relations with state authorities. However, at the same time, experts do not detract from the importance of other instruments, for example, a direct formalized address to an official (for example, with a formal written request), as well as procedures for assessing regulatory impact.
