Summary of qualifying work is « The Opportunities for Improving Competitiveness of Automobile Industry of Russian Federation on the Global Market». The author is student of the faculty "World economy and world politics" for specialization "Trade policy" Shishkova Natalia. Under the issue of qualifying work, there were considered tendencies of development of automobile industry in Russia and world leading countries. The hypothesis of the research is the strengthening of Russia’s positions on the world market in the automobile industry under condition of effective macroeconomic trade politics, government financial support, alliance with foreign corporations. The mission is the construction of macroeconomic strategy, growth domestic and external demand. The aim of the qualifying work to research the world tendencies of automobile industry development in Russia and abroad, identify opportunities and suggest the methods of improving the competitiveness of the Russian automobile industry in the global market. In the first chapter, there were analyzed the concept of competitiveness and the relationship of competitiveness at the all levels of the economic system. In second chapter, there were analyzed modern tendencies of the automobile industry, it was estimated the competitiveness of the automobile sector, using SWOT-analysis. In third chapter, there were considered priority directions of development of automobile industry of Russia for the period in the short terms, it was estimated the methods of government support of the automobile sector. In conclusion, there were offered the possibility of improving the competitiveness of the Russian automobile industry under the cooperation with the countries of Asia.
