Evaluation of the Personnel Management System Effectiveness: The Case of «MassimoDutti» LLC

In nowadays dynamic market conditions, every company that wants to stay afloat, should be aware of the importance of such a mechanism, as personnel management system. The competent management of employees, carried out by the managerial staff, can allow the company not only to reduce losses due to incorrect management decisions, but also to reach a new level of development. As the company under investigation, the company «Massimo Dutti» LLC was chosen, which is one of the leaders in the fashion market and is part of the Inditex holding company. The relevance of the work is justified by the fact that in such a large company, the competent work of the management team is extremely important, as it constantly faces fierce competition. Thus, the purpose of this paper is to evaluate the effectiveness of the personnel management system that operates in «Massimo Dutti» LLC as well as develop proposals for its modification and improvement. To achieve this goal, the following tasks were formed: 1. to determine the most appropriate method for assessing the effectiveness of the personnel management system based on the analysis of the literature connected with the topic. 2. to study the history of the company to get an idea of what factors related only to this company can additionally influence the effectiveness of the management system. 3. to conduct an evaluation of the current management system using one of the studied methods. 4. to develop a list of recommendations for improving the effectiveness of the personnel management system. The process of the evaluation was based on such research methods as: analysis of secondary data, observation method, survey, SWOT analysis, PEST analysis, analysis of the financial indicators. The main result of this work is a list of proposals to improve the level of communication between employees. Calculation of costs for the implementation of the proposal was carried out, and its economic benefit to the company was justified.
