Impact of Management Style of Director on the Company Culture

The present qualification work is dedicated to the influence of leader management style on corporate culture. The purpose of the research work is to give general characteristic to the corporate culture and its content, to get wise to a key role of the leader in the formation and sustentation of the corporate culture, to pay attention to the management styles of the company, to undertake the analysis between the companies aand determine how the leader management style influences the team’a efficiancy. In frames of this master’s thesis, the management styles for Manfred Kets de Vries were described in detail with the examples for each of them. A detailed review of the corporate culture was conducted using the example of Russian companies such as Novatek, Sberbank, Lukoil and Tinkoff in the second part. The identification of reasons for the decline in efficiancy and deterioration of the climate in the team were emphasized in this analisys. A personal interview with the leader of large company was conducted upon completion of this research. There were discussed issues of the corporate culture in company, the relationship between the leader and the employees and the atmosphere in general.
