Subjectivity of the Teacher’s Position as a Factor of the University Effectiveness

In the thesis the work of the teaching staff (PPS) and subjectivity of the teacher's position as a factor of the university's effectiveness are investigated. The purpose of the study is to identify the factors influencing the activity of the teaching staff and the quality of university education. The implementation of this goal is designed to develop recommendations for rising the effectiveness of the educational process through the development of the subjectivity of the teacher and improving the environment of his professional activity. The methods of the research include sociological polls of respondents from PPS, various types of statistical analysis and approaches of modern institutional economic theory. The integrated indicator of the subject-object activity of the teacher is designed and calculated. This indicator allows to give a quantitative assessment of the combination of the subject-object qualities of the teacher that can be used as a management tool. A general index of the subjectivity of the teaching staff is proposed, which opens up the possibilities of its application in order to improve the quality of university management. The efficiency index and the efficiency rating of the university are developed and calculated, which give a quantitative assessment of the effectiveness of the organization. Areas of application of the study are: regulation of the university educational process, its legal framework and university management.
