In this paper, such a tool for staff motivation as training is considered. The main problem of the research carried out in the work is the discrepancy between the expectations of the management and the resulting effect from the introduction of training. According to the theoretical foundations, training is one of the most successful tools of motivation, however, company managers often say that the staff does not show a desire to receive additional knowledge and spend more time on work, which is reflected in the results of internal research of companies. The purpose of the work was to identify factors and tools, the implementation of which will positively affect the perception of learning as a motivational tool by staff and will positively influence the elimination of discrepancies in the perception of training by personnel and management. The author conducted a sociological survey of employees of large medical companies, which makes it possible to reveal their attitude to learning and the level of involvement. Also, within the framework of the study, expert interviews were conducted with managers who are engaged in training programs for employees. Based on the results of the research, the author systematizes the received data and develops recommendations for the implementation of communications within the framework of the introduction of the personnel training process.
