Within the confines of the diploma project which explain the developing design of the Multimedia library for The Polytechnic Museum Lectorium one of my tasks is to create a universal graphic language. This research largely confined to the problem that education can also be interactive and entertaining. To solve this problem, it is necessary to analaze the already existing graphic language and find out the system of the image creation. Thus, the topic of visual research was the history of scientific and technical illustrations. In my opinion, when you develop science or technology illustrations it is necessary to confirm the information accurately to the reader. But also you need to pay attention to theoretical and practical issues of graphic design. The period of the technological revolution is greatly contributed of the society interest in obtaining new information. In the course of investigation, it was analyzed how the drawing style of scientific and technical illustrations changed over the centuries, and also what historical milestones was became key point to transforming the style and subject matter of images. The visual research is a catalog of scientific and technical illustrations, arranged in chronological order. However, the chronology here is rather not just a time sequence, but a designation of key historical milestones that have changed not only human knowledge, but also the visualization of this knowledge.
