Legal Regulation of the Use of Musical Compositions in Audiovisual Works

The graduate work presents the study of the legal regulation of the use of musical compositions in audiovisual works. The object of the study are legal relations existing in the field of the research. The subject of the paper is the current legislation of the Russian Federation regulating the relationship of the use of music in an audiovisual work, legal literature aimed at studying stated issues, and case practice. The purpose of the study is to examine the legal regulation of the inclusion of musical compositions in audiovisual works and to identify the actual problems that arise during this process. The structure of the work consists of an introduction, the main part that includes two chapters, the first chapter consist of two paragraphs, the second chapter consist of three paragraphs, a conclusion and a list of sources. In the process of the research were identified problems of using musical composition as a part of an audiovisual work that caused by legislative gaps in the regulation of studied legal relations. In perspective it can be studied how to should improve the legislation in the field of including music in audiovisual works. Today’s court practice and researches which are also considered in this study will help to improve the laws and avoid lapses in the regulation of these relations which exist today because of the current legislation.
