To reveal the degree of influence of cultural ties on the formation of the political image of the country, on the example of analysis of Chinese cultural policy in the Russian Federation To solve the set tasks, a wide range of sources on this issue was used, namely legislative acts, agreements, reports, media materials and statistical data. The work consists of three chapters, introduction, conclusion and bibliography. The introduction proves the necessity of studying the influence of cultural ties on the formation of the image in connection with the political situation in the world. In the first chapter, the concepts of "political image" and "cultural ties" and their interrelations are examined. The second chapter examines the cultural policy of the PRC, as well as the tools of cultural policies that China uses in the Russian Federation. In the third chapter, these instruments and their effects are analyzed to form the image of the PRC in the Russian Federation.
