Promotion of National Park «Stolby» on the Eco-Educational Tourism Market

Graduate qualification work on the theme “Promotion of National Park “Stolby” on the Eco-Educational Tourism Market” is performed by Svyatunenko Alexandra Evgenievna. The aim of the thesis is to develop the national park "Stolby" promotion models on the markets of domestic and inbound eco-educational tourism. In accordance with the stated purpose, the author formulated the following tasks: to consider the approaches to the national parks study and promotion in the context of eco-educational tourism; to arrange the national parks promotion world practices; to identify the national park "Stolby" promotion special aspects; to define special characteristics of the main tourist product consumers groups in the national park "Stolby"; to describe the development of the national park "Stolby" promotion system in relation to Russia and abroad. The thesis consists of three chapters. The first chapter presents a conceptual analysis of the theoretical knowledge on the topic under study, and also considers the principles for organizing promotion campaigns for the national parks. The second chapter contains a description of the research process: an overview of the progressive national parks promotion experience; an analysis of the national park "Stolby" performance (types of activity, measures of promotion, online visibility, subscribers’ engagement); and the description of the main tourists’ groups characteristics (those who visit the national park "Stolby"). The third chapter appears with the results of the study: recommendations for engaging stakeholders in the promotion campaign, a matrix of components and ways to promote the tourist product online, models for promoting the national park "Stolby" on the markets of domestic and inbound eco-educational tourism. The thesis consists of 126 pages, contains 18 tables, 13 pictures, 4 annexes. Key words: national park, eco-educational tourism, promotion, tools, models.
