Optimization of Storage Systems

Effective and rational logistic support of business has an extremely important role in achieving high economic results. The overall management of the supply chain and its individual links should simultaneously ensure quality satisfaction of the needs (customers) and minimization of logistics costs. The logistics component in the management of the wholesale trade enterprise is one of the most important directions of ensuring competitiveness. The effectiveness of logistics solutions in trade is considered along with the efficiency of the economic activity of the trade subject in general, as the logistics component in trade is very weighty. Today, in the field of a business management, attempts are being made to expand the scope of application of logistics approaches in other aspects of the managing. The logistics component in the management is based on such management that enterprises have the opportunity to take into account the current and prospective factors in the implementation of innovative activities in logistics, make decisions on optimization of logistics processes, adequately address organizational contradictions, etc. Logistic methods are one of the important factors in realizing the competitive potential of entrepreneurial structures. At the same time, in the management of modern trading enterprises, the preparation of many decisions is carried out using methods, that help to solve the problems of procurement, procuring, warehousing and other logistics systems. Therefore, the logistics approach is to a certain extent universal. In my research, I would like to disclose the question of managing a warehouse system that already uses the principles of logistics management. On the basis of logistical audit, I would like to find an opportunity to improve the managing of the warehouse of the wholesale trade enterprise in order to accelerate the turnover and reduce the labor costs of warehouse processing of commodity stocks.
