Improving Return Flows Management by the Example of Trading Company

In this paper, the topic of improving the management of return flows by the example of a trading enterprise is considered. Under the process of managing return flows in a trading company is understood the management of finished product flows that follow the supply chain in the opposite direction, from the customers of the trading company and the end users back to company, because these goods have lost their consumer properties or should be destroyed at optimal costs. Recently, when companies are in constant search for alternative ways to reduce costs, the theme of management of return flows is beginning to gain increasing popularity. The paper considers: existing classifications of return flows, modern literature on this subject and methods of managing return flows. During the analysis of the focus company and the synthesis of existing methods, new procedures and methods were developed for implementation in the focus company. The introduction of measures to improve the management of return flows will help the trading companies build a highly functional logistics network that is capable of meeting the needs of customers at the specified time and with the best level of logistics service.
