Analysis of Non-financial Factors Influence on Company`s Performance

In the modern world, social and environmental problems are becoming important and relevant for investors, consumers, private companies and society as a whole. For this reason, organizations are expanding the direction of their strategy towards sustainable development. Thus, the planning of activities includes not only the consideration of the interests of shareholders, but also an expanding circle of stakeholders of the company, including buyers, consumers, suppliers, the state and others. Currently, the researchers agree that the company, whose strategic goals and objectives, and whose specific actions are closely linked to the concept of sustainable development, has more loyal customers, is attractive to investors, and also works more efficiently than the company whose main goal is obtaining a stable profit. The purpose of this study is to identify the extent to which corporate social responsibility influences the efficiency of Russian companies. To achieve this goal, the following tasks have been accomplished: the concept of corporate social responsibility has been defined, and how it can be manifested in the company; the principles of non-financial reporting were studied; the concepts of operational and strategic efficiency have been defined, and a methodology for calculating indicators has been developed; the results of the empirical analysis of modern research in the sphere of influence of non-financial factors on the efficiency of companies' activities are considered; though regression analysis the influence of non-financial factors on the company's performance was estimated and conclusions regarding the relationships were made; practical recommendations and applications of the results obtained.
