Teacher’s Stereotypes about Behavior of Boys and Girls in School

This study dedicated to school teachers’ and their communicational practices with students which is often filled with stereotypes. Stereotypes in school environment is often connected with teachers’ expectation about students and it can have an enormous influence on their educational performance. This paper consisted two-phase design study where teachers’ stereotypes investigated by pilot in-depth interviews and quantitative data about 338 school teachers collected with the factorial survey method. The result of analysis showed that teachers’ has strong stereotypes about students inherent behavior.
