Methods of Promoting the Transport and Logistic Company in the Internet

Within the framework of the final qualification work, the analysis of the possibilities of promotion of transport and logistics companies on the Internet was made. Methods of promotion of transport and logistics companies on the Internet have been described and their classification is presented. The main methods include: promotion in the search engines (SEO); contextual advertising; media advertising, advertising on thematic resources; advertising in social networks; email delivery. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that the promotion of the site logistics services through contextual advertising - the most profitable way to attract a large number of new customers and compete with large companies in search results. To improve the method, an algorithm was proposed to develop contextual advertising taking into account the specifics of transport and logistics companies. An analysis was made of the methods used by Russian transportation and logistics companies: "Del. Line", "PEC", "KIT", "Baikal Service", and "RATEK". As a result, it was determined that the main method of promotion was SEO-optimization, the second place was taken by email newsletter. As an additional attraction of clients, companies use promotion through Internet resources and social networks. Only one in five companies effectively uses contextual advertising as the main method of promotion on the Internet. The developed algorithm of contextual advertising for transport and logistics companiewas applied on the example of the company "RATEK".
