Adaptive Learning Support Program Integrated with Microsoft Onenote Class Notebooks

A lot of research has been done in the field of adaptive learning. Intelligent tutoring systems implement learning management, user interaction and intervention decision algorithms. However, currently available systems fail to meet all the demands in terms of adaptivity and usability, and have not become mainstream. This paper gives an overview on the current approaches in the field of adaptive learning systems, describes the scheme of work of the EdMachine adaptive learning system, being developed in HSE, architecture and implementation of the adaptive learning support program, which acts as a mediator between students and EdMachine. The engineered program allows to set user testing with the goal of development and improvement of the system. The paper consists of 43 pages, 3 chapters, 29 illustrations, 2 tables, 28 bibliography items and 6 appendices. Keywords: active learning, web-application, distributed systems, e-learning.
