Corporate Strategy of Diversified Growth: Risks and Opportunities

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the strategy of diversified growth on the example of a specific organization and to deduce on this basis further recommendations that can be considered the basis for building a successful strategy of diversified growth and development of the company's existing strategy. The work consists of three chapters. The first chapter suggests the main directions of the company's diversified growth strategy, their description and identification of key advantages and disadvantages. Then, in the same section, the key parameters of the internal environment of the organization are described, the degree of their influence within the framework of the theme of the final work is explained. The second chapter of the work is devoted to describing the external environment of the company and revealing its importance in determining which direction of diversified growth it is necessary to move organizations. It also provides a description of the most appropriate methods of analysis in the framework of this topic, followed by an analysis of the external environment of the research object. Within the framework of this work, the external environment is analyzed using PEST analysis, as well as analysis of the five forces of M. Porter. The final chapter contains an analysis of the internal environment of the organization, its comparison with the external environment. At this stage, there is a qualitative analysis of the internal environment of the organization by the model 7S, SWOT-analysis and SNW-analysis. In conclusion, the results are interpreted and summarized, and recommendations are given as to whether the research object should diversify its activities. And if so, in which direction would it be best to move.
