Social Intelligence as a Factor in Establishing Social Ties in Business

The following research is dedicated to the value-semantic sphere of representatives of business in labor activity. We have interrogated 70 respondents who are currently working. The respondents determined the features of the value-semantic sphere, the relationship between the fullness of the meaning of labor and its other aspects, attitude to work, as well as the attitude to the situation of loss of meaning in the work. We assessed the values (M. Rokeach’s model) and we used our own methods to study and the value-semantic sphere. For statistical analysis we used content analysis, correlation analysis. In the study we found out the leading values in the work were revealed: "financially secure life", "active life", "productive life", "happiness of others", "development". Also the fact that most people define work as a way of developing and realizing themselves. And the personal consequences of loss of meaning in the work lead to a decrease in efficiency. As a result of the correlation analysis, it was possible to reveal the relationship of fullness with the meaning of labor with involvement and satisfaction with the result. This research let us describe the value-semantic sphere of business representatives. Results can be used in coaching and consulting work.
