The Influence of Behavioral,Genetic and Social Factors on Chronic Diseases on the Example of Pancreatitis

The research paper examines the attitude of pancreatitis patients to the sensitive questions about alcohol consumption as a one of the strongest reasons for the disease development. Based on the lifestyle interviews, the work shows that many patients hide the truth about alcohol questions. The possible explanations of such behavior in the economic point of view are described using the basics of Prospect theory. The empirical analysis was held with a use of item count technique with linear least squares method and maximum likelihood estimator. The study results in the detection of patients with the high probability of lying using the Experiment prediction list.
