We apply the microhistorical approach to the everyday life of evacuated people, and those, who lived in Novosibirsk. We estimate the meaning of cultural events and cultural practice to social environment of the city, supplying the fighting state. Lections of prof. I.I Sollertinsky, excellent performance level of the symphonic orchestra, unique repertoire, intensiveness of concerts are considered as factors, having changed the cultural life of townspeople; the contact of world-class professionals with the audience and cultural practitioners of Novosibirsk provided significant changes of postwar social and cultural development, social conscience and environment. The role of the philharmonic’s administration is considered as significant factor in lives of evacuated musicians. The article contains the research of attitude of evacuated professionals to their practice, provided new recognition of culture’s value, identity of the group and social mission. The attitude of common townspeople to the symphonic concerts is also analyzed. There we discover the difference between the state cultural policy provision and new meaning of conservation of multiple cultural forms in times of crisis as a mission of culture practitioners. We use the method of content analysis and of the everyday life history: interpretation the meaning of personal sources, included surveillance, analysis of individual and group social techniques of adaptation to large-scale social processes, forming the historical event.
