Derzhavin Tambov State University – the Project of Development Strategy for 2019-2023

It is proposed to perform the project paper on the example of a traditional regional university. The relevance of this theses is caused by the need to improve the forms and methods of strategic university management, as well as the modern requirements of the founder (the Ministry of Science and higher Education of the Russian Federation), who expect mandatory development strategies and development programs from all subordinate organizations. The project idea consists in the possibility to form a development strategy for a particular university on the basis of theoretical approaches and the accumulated experience of other universities and this could be used by the university in its practical activities. The purpose of the master's thesis is the project of the university development strategy, which is aimed at improving the quality and effectiveness of the university strategic management in accordance with the selected development priorities. The development of the university strategy project is based on the principles of the formation of the supporting universities development strategies and programs. As a result we have the Project of Derzhavin Tambov State University Development Strategy until 2023 and the road map.
