Educational Programme: World Economy (Master)

Year of Graduation: 2019

The aim of my research is a theoretical and empirical study of the impact of external shocks on the Russian economy in 2014. In the following paper I develop a theoretical model of an open economy and validate it with an econometric analysis. The main advantage of my model is the ability to analyze short-term equilibrium under the influence of exogenous shocks, as well as the possibility to integrate fiscal and monetary policies into an equilibrium state. At the same time, as part of my work I analyze key macroeconomic variables of Russian economy during the period from 2009th to 2019th.
