Development of Tools to improve the Efficiency of the Formation of the Order for the Supply of Finished Products to the Client

The abstract to the master's thesis by Bogdanov P. V. "Development of tools to improve the efficiency of the formation of the order to the supplier-manufacturer for the supply of finished products to the client." The aim of the thesis is the analysis and development of tools for planning the provision of customer demand in products, to improve the efficiency of the order formation for the supplier-manufacturer. In this research work, the analysis of the business process of order formation to the supplier is made, taking into account the demands of the warehouse. The methodological part of operational management and inventory management is studied. The cases of implementation of correlative blocks in other systems were found and observed. Based on the studied material, recommendations for the implementation of the tool are determined. The approaches and methods described in the BABOK were applied. The research work consists of three parts. The first part analyzes the state of the object under study and the subject of study. The problem is formulated. In the second part, the analysis of methodologies, the study of examples of the implementation of tools in different systems is made. A new business-process of the targeted work of the tool. The third part contains economic evaluation of the project realization. The results of the research work include the development of the target business process, functional requirements for the development of the tools, schedule in the MS Project system. Interface layouts and an example of the tool based on historical Excel data, as well as the assessment of economic efficiency are developed.
