Detecting Stock Market Manipulations Using Machine Learning Techniques

Nowadays, stock market manipulations are one of the most serious problems of both developed and developing countries. With the development of technology, it is becoming more and more obvious that the existing methods of detecting these manipulations, based on expert knowledge and a set of rules, are obsolete. However, machine learning provides opportunities for more accurate and timely detection of fraudulent activities. In this study, the situation with the manipulations on the Russian stock market will be studied and a there will be created machine learning algorithms which can detect those manipulations in real time.
